Un po' di curiosità dalle statistiche:
GLASGOW WARRIORS V BENETTON
Glasgow Warriors
The Warriors’ scrum has been shaky so far this season. They have only secured the ball on their own feed 73% of the time
Glasgow’s Jamie Bhatti is the joint-most penalised player in the league, getting on the wrong side of the referee’s whistle a total of ten times so far this season (= Aki Seiuli)
A rock in the middle for Glasgow Warriors, Sione Tuipulotu has played more minutes (386), made more carries (47), and driven for more metres in contact (33) than any of his teammates
Benetton
Benetton’s kicking game continues to impress. They have made more kicks in play (176) and made more metres from them (5,163) than any other team in the BKT URC. Tomas Albornoz’s 50/22 last weekend was a great example of their quality in this area, as is the fact that scrum-half Dewaldt Duvenage has made more kicks that have been retained than any other player (11)
Keeping the scoreboard ticking over for his team, Tomas Albornoz has slotted a league-high 12 penalty goals so far this season, missing none
Benetton lock Frederico Ruzza has been the go-to target in the lineout in the BKT URC so far, claiming the ball in the air 33 times
Did You Know?
Glasgow Warriors have lost three of their last four contests with Benetton. However, Benetton have not beaten this weekend’s opponents in Scotland since September 2011.
The Warriors have won each of their last eight matches at home.
With three wins and three losses to their name, this is Benetton’s opportunity to be in the green for the first time since round four.
DRAGONS RFC V ZEBRE PARMA
Dragons RFC
A timely win against the Ospreys in round six was a fitting reward for the Dragons’ determination in the carry this season. They have made more metres in contact than any other team (543)
Dragons wing Rio Dyer looked threatening last weekend, making more metres with ball in hand than any other player in round six (195) and scoring two tries – as many as any other player
Both Aaron Wainwright and Rio Dyer were at the top of the charts in round six for clean breaks, making three apiece. For Wainwright, no other forward has made more in a single game this season
Zebre Parma
Zebre Parma have conceded an average of 15.7 turnovers per match so far this season. This league-high figure is sabotaging the promise that they have shown in the opening six rounds of BKT URC rugby. Tiff Eden alone has been turned over a league-high total of 14 times
Tiff Eden has proven his worth in the Zebre jersey though, making more metres from penalty kicks than any other player (1,081)
A threat in the tight and in the loose, Zebre have made more metres with their maul (164) and more offloads (65) than any other team
Did You Know?
In the domestic topflight, these sides have met 17 times: nine wins have gone to the Dragons, seven to Zebre, and there has been one draw.
The Dragons’ victory over the Ospreys last weekend may have ended a three-match losing streak, but they have still won just two of their last 11 league fixtures.
Perhaps falling back to their old standards, Zebre’s 19-point losing margin against Edinburgh last weekend was their heaviest defeat of the season so far.
