<BR>Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan have won their Asia Division 3 pools to proceed to the next round of RWC qualifying.

<BR>Kazakhstan took early control of their mid-week RWC qualifying match against Guam in Asia\'s Round 1a Division 3, running out eventual 51-6 winners.
<BR>
<BR>Forcing Guam onto the back foot by attacking through the middle of the field, the Kazakhstan effort owed much to the power of the forwards, notably Rudoy Anton and Mashuzov Timuz.
<BR>
<BR>Guam, playing only their second full international, remained committed and improved against Malaysia on Sunday, but again went down fighting by 44-15.
<BR>
<BR>Sri Lanka\'s 34-17 win over Singapore makes them clear Winners of Division 3 Pool A and sets them on course for the Home and Away playoff to decide the sixth Team to take part in Asia\'s next round of RWC 2007 qualifiers. Kazakhstan were undefeated Winners of Division 3-Pool B.

<BR>Fiji off to winning start

<BR>Fiji, meanwhile, held on to defeat a fired-up Tonga 19-11 at the Post Fiji Stadium in Suva in their first RWC 2007 qualifying match.

<BR>Wayne Pivac\'s men had to dig deep to hold off Tonga’s forwards and build on a half time lead of 16-3. Outstanding in the Fijian forwards was Apolosi Satala on debut, while another Sevens star, left wing Sireli Bobo, scored Fiji’s lone try in the 30th minute.

<BR>In Africa, Kenya came from behind to beat Uganda 8-5 in Kampala, while RWC veterans Zimbabwe fought off a brave challenge from the rapidly improving Senegalese to win 21-15.

<BR>In particolare sono impressionato dalla larga vittoria del Kazakhstan su un deludente Guam (che francamente mi aspettavo più forti).

<BR>A parte gli scherzi le Fiji hanno faticato molto a battere Tonga e mi spiace vedere lo Zimbabwe, squadra con un certo passato, ridotto a faticare contro il Senegal...
